The only chronic failure of note on the ST is the fuel sender. While
the bike is highly unlikely to strand you on the roadway, you may get an
unpleasant surprise some morning when you enter the garage and smell gasoline.
So if the bike is not going to be your only transportation then do it, you
won't ever regret it. If it's your only way to work, though, you should be
aware of that one failing. Some of us have had a few fuel senders already. 'Tis
a wonderful machine, though.
