Re: New Tune # and Co level

I'm running tune 9888 on my '99 ST and it works great, but I now know that
it's not the latest tune. I couldn't get the info from my own dealer, so
while visiting a dealer in Bellingham, Washington on Saturday, I asked them.
They immediately dragged out the Triumph service bulletin and showed me that
the latest tune they had was 10017 (version 9). There were two other tune
numbers as well, but I wasn't interested in them as I have a box-stock ST
(sorry Erik). I also had a close look at the bulletin and there was NO
mention of it only applying to 2000 models. This is consistent with other
recent posts, notably that from Eric Sheley, suggests that the ECU for '00
is functionally identical to the older (larger) ECU. I haven't had a chance
to get back to my local dealer yet.

BTW, in case you missed the other post, the CO setting recommeded by Triumph
is now 3% and the ONLY way to get it right is to use an exhaust gas
analyzer.

Neil
