Dunlop or Metzeler?

Yes, tires again... In mid to late July I'll be taking the bike in for
it's 6k service and will take the opportunity to get rid of the stock rubber
before the rallye. The rear will be about done by that point anyway. I've heard
nothing but good things about the Dunlops and have been seriously considering a
D207 front and D205 rear. On the other hand, I had a '99 SV650 for almost a
year that had Metzeler ME-Z4's on it. They gripped fabulously, but the bike
seemed to wander a bit much on the freeway. Since most of my riding is freeway
commuting at 65 - 80 mph, I'd rather not have that minor annoyance. Of course,
the '99 SV650's wheelbase is over 2 inches shorter than the ST's (55.7"), and
it's about 90 pounds lighter before the bags. That probably explains much more
of the wandering than tire profile. So, shall it be D207 front with D205 rear
or ME-Z3 front with ME-Z4 rear? If the rear will make 6,000 miles I'm fine with
it - I'll just make a new rear tire part of every 6k service.
One last thing: any opinions on using a 120/60 front instead of the
stock 120/70? I'm thinking it'll give a slightly larger contact patch (probably
unnoticeable and unnecessary) and also make the speedo a little closer to
reality, which would be nice. I'm concerned that it may have a more significant
effect on handling than I'm anticipating, though, even though it's really a
very minor difference.
