 Don't you have transponders available? In Calif. now, all the toll
roads have transponders available from the toll road agency at no
cost, at toll collection points the road divides and the right hand
lanes go to the toll collection booths while the left hand lanes just
breeze on, at speed, under an overhead boom that interrogates your
transponder (and takes a picture of your license plate) and bills you
at the end of the month. The toll is no cheaper but you don't have to
stop, which makes it a big help for motorcyclists.

 If your roads don't have that, it might be a worthwhile addition for
which to campaign.

 When I lived back East, I used to put the correct toll money in my
left glove; not a perfect system but it worked.
