Re: Shift Linkage

Phil,

The Triumph Part Number is: T2080373.

The instructions included with the pedal specifically state that it is a
replacement for the original 3-piece gearchange assembly on the Sprint ST.
It provides a huge improvement in shifting precision because the freeplay
inherent in the original 3-piece gearchange linkage is eliminated.

The only negative is that the new pedal is about 1" closer to the footpeg,
making it more difficult for large-footed individuals (I wear size 12 boots)
to get your foot underneath the pedal for upshifting. I solved this
problem, however, by simply positioning the pedal higher, in order to
provide me with more room for my boot.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,

Paul Wilson
