Since someone mentioned heatgrips and Texas in the same breath, I have a
great idea ....

Couldn't someone devise a prototype in which the polarity is reversed and
the heatgrips produce a soothingly and suitably chilled temperate touch to
the hands in the summer? I'm sure it would sell big-time! Perhaps it could
also come with an optional mini icecube maker for those much-needed pitstops
when the bottled water in your rucksack has just about reached boiling
point.
Maybe I should consider reschooling and becoming an inventor?
