When you fit the Scottoiler, you have to prime the system by filling the oil
container and then using the yellow Scottoiler oil bottle to pressurise the
system - the restriction at the oil outlet onto the chain makes it a slow
job to push the oil through the system.  I spent 20-25 minutes filling the
top half of the oil system, then I got bored and went for a ride on the bike
and the rest filled by gravity.  The Scottoiler oil is red so it's easy to
see how far the oil has gone down the tubing.

If it still isn't working, look at the Scottoiler bottle and note the
position of the black rubber bung inside the oil container.  Start the
engine and you should see the black bung move as the vacuum lifts it off the
valve seat - provided you have the oil rate set above minimum.  If it
doesn't move, you may have a problem in the vacuum line connections.
