Re: Chain Lube



Actually,
You raise a good point below about WD-40. Chain was is OK, but it seems to
stick to everything except my chain. I go through a whole jug of wheel
cleaner every time I wash the bike just to unstick the chain was good that
flew off all over the place (and I use it sparingly). I'm not convinced that
Chain Wax does much of anything except make a mess. With WD-40, 30 seconds
of cleaning with kerosine seems to make everything like new, to say nothing
of the fact that you can just buy it on the road as needed.

I've heard some recommend lithium lube spray, but others say it does not
stay on under heat. Any thoughts from anyone would be appreciated,
specifically with respect to chain manufacturers recommendations.
