It is corrugated-looking plastic tubing, that looks something like the 
plastic flex sometimes used over wiring looms. There is a tube like that on 
each side in front of the tank. You need to take the fairing off to get at 
it. The one on the right side is used. If you aren't sure, go and look at an 
ST/RS at your dealer that is undressed.
