I've run out twice. First time was at 197 miles (it took 5.5 gallons),
but I *was* doing 95-110 all the way from Palm Springs to Los Angeles
that day into what felt like a 40MPH headwind. Second time was at 211
miles, and that happened because I was being stupid and trying to push
it.
After getting my CO re-adjusted, my fuel economy is much better. I
usually fill up at around 190, and the bike takes 4.5 to 5 gallons at
that point. Point to consider - Living in California, I have to use
crappy gas containing MTBE. Those with quality fuel will likely get
better mileage.
