I did a set on my Superhawk.

The forks will have to be taken apart. The emulator goes at the bottom of
the damping rod assembly. Probably best to just remove the entire fork tube
and play with them in your kitchen, (oops Dee saw that).

The work is not difficult or high tech, just takes some patience and a shop
manual. Make sure you allow enough time, don't feel like you need to have
the bike back on the road instantly. I think you will find that it will give
you a lot of satisfaction to do this yourself. If you were closer I would
come over to help. I'm ordering mine this weekend and will post a blow by
blow after I do the installation.
