TT

Hi All:

Saw what I think was a TT600 in the flesh tonight, a yellow
one. Once I finally got a side view, there was no missing
those big staggered TT letters on the front. Rider was in
helmet and black leathers with yellow across the shoulders
in back. He was running with a Honda (VTR?) also in yellow
and black. No leathers, no helmet. Both were driving a little
squidly, given the location (Chicago Ave leading into downtown
Naperville) and the traffic, which was pretty heavy.

At one point the TT rider got into some short wheelies, getting
about a foot of air on throttle snaps alone. This was only a
couple car lengths behind someone. I was following them in
traffic, and was stopped behind them once. Honda had a Honda
logo on the tail, but the other bike had no logo I could see
but a flat across the top round under the bottom tail light
like the ST. The bikes (or riders) seemed pretty evenly matched
when they got on it. The TT drew air when they turned up a
side street and got on it hard.

Saw them again in downtown, where they crossed my path, and
got a good look at that TT logo. Nice looking bike. Certainly
has torque a-plenty.
