I do a lot of my own maintenance, though I had the dealer install the
panniers (as part of the purchase). I've been away from the list for a
bit, but you can e-mail me direct if you like. I've done my valves a
few times, changed the oil a bunch, had the brakes apart (front and
rear) installed a Scott Oiler, the Triumph hugger, and am in the
process of trying to modify my bags so they don't vibrate so much and
crack.

Are you in the LA area? If so, I will be doing the 36,000 mile service
in a few weeks (probably mid to late July). I expect I'll need a shim
or two then, so if you want to watch over my shoulder and hand me
tools I'd be glad to have the company.
