for Jim Huber RS vs ST



 Dear Jim;

      In So. Calif. it's just too warm year round for the heat of a
full-fairing, especially if you don't work and have every day to
spend going places with many long days in the saddle. I had one when
I lived at Lake Tahoe and it was OK because the summers were so short
and the nights were still chilly, but not so down here. 

      One of our listers in Europe managed to mount the ST bags
(Guus, I believe his name was) and I'm waiting to hear back from him
on the details. Bending the pipe is no big deal, but I think the
sub-frames are different. There are enough guys working on it so
someone will figure it out or some company will offer hard bags.
