The smaller of the two 'nuts' is the adjuster. I turned that away from the
from the brake lever, almost out to the end of its travel, then brought the
bigger 'lock nut' up snug against it. Free play is almost nil at this point,
which is the way I like it. I probably moved them significanlty when I
installed the Euro headlight switch, without realizing it.
