Texas RAT Rally

Well, we made it back to Houston as well!  It was great to be on the
same roads again as Rude Dawg, Rebel Dawg, and Bird Dawg!  Bird Dawg
fittingly took the lead rider position on Saturday and did a great job
for our little group.  Rebel Dawg flew in and out of our midst--like the
wind, as usual.  Rude Dawg didn't get to ride as much as he wanted as
his tires were a little worse for wear, but he joined us all day Friday
and half the day on Saturday.  We also got to meet Diggity Dawg who rode
all the way from New Mexico to join us!  Horn Dawg also came up from
Houston, but we ride with him all the time ;-))!    We missed Dawg with
No Name and Retriever Dawg and all of you other Texas Dawgs that didn't
make it!!

A fun time was had by all, and we got in some fantastic riding, and good
bit of night life to boot!  If you can make it to one of the RAT rallies
this year, I strongly suggest doing so. It's great to see so many
Triumphs all in one spot!  BTW, there were more STs there than any other
type of Triumph.  As one San Antonio salesman said, they sell equal
numbers of most models, but the turnout just goes to show that ST owners
RIDE their motorcycles!!  How true, since mine turned over 19,000 miles
on the way home!

We did get to see a red and silver (be still my beating heart) TT! WOW!
We also saw it blast by in a red & silver streak.  That bike will
move!!!!!  I can't wait to get my gloved hands on one I can ride!  Can
you sense the drool??

Hope all of you made it home safely and that we will see all of you in
North Carolina when we Ride the Ridge!
