Greg Girard writes: This diagnosis sounds suspect, as would seem odd for a
fuel-related part to spontaneous self-destruct. Perhaps it is a bad assembly
or seal issue that does not require a replacement part.

Greg Girard writes: Sounds like your friends may be unaware that your
Triumph shares little more than its logo with the Triumphs they are thinking
of.

Best of Luck and Hang in There. Be polite but forceful with Triumph, and
perhaps activate your local lemon law statute!
