Re: Helmet locks

Before I installed my panniers, I used a Kryptonite U-lock ( the type used
to secure a bicycle to a pole). I threaded it through the chinbar on my
full-face helmet and secured it to the seat grab-rail. The Kryptonite lock
fits easily under your seat when not being used and having your locked
helmet sitting on the bike seat prevents it from getting scratched by
footpeg brackets, etc. This is also a good method when your panniers are
full and you have no room in them for your helmet.
