Todays question form the closet

OK Gang,
Today's question form the closet is on the topic of ... shhh,,, Motorcycle trailers.
I know, I know, no real biker worth the blisters on their butt would ever consider using a trailer to get their bike around.  Believe me, I have plenty of long miles under my butt, and I still intend to place plenty more long miles under it in the future.  All the same, it has come to pass that I am now considering a trailer for the bike and I am interested to know what the opinions and experiences from folks on the list are.  What do they cost?  Where to find them? Mail order?  Horror stories?  Anybody with a used trailer for sale?  Building my own, etc...

Any comments would be appreciated.  I can even take the ridicule as well.
