Just an opinion here. While we'd all like to think this stuff shouldn't
happen, that facts are it does and not just to Triumph. Its a fact of life,
when was the last time you had a television, washer/dryer, hard drive crash?
As to the resolution method no company can afford to simply jump in a whip
wrenches like a pit crew. There is a process to follow and resources to be
allocated. Not to mention the biggest obstacle, whos gonna pay, the dealer,
individual or Company. Like an insurance company validating claims, this
process involves negotiation and time. Triumph or any other company will not
pay claims if they feel evidence indicates there were transgressions in the
written terms of the warranty. And until sufficient evidence and testimony
is revealed to satisfy conditions were met, they are gonna hold out. Hey, I
wish it were easier to but it ain't now or ever gonna be because there is
money involved. You gave Rick the best advice, hang in there, be patient and
negotiate your side of the coin as best you can. Make your case, push for
your interest as hard as you can and let the judges do their thing. Even if
that fails the battle can be wagered in other arenas but its really mostly
about making your case.
