Neutral woes....

Hi All,
New to posting on the list but I've been reading and learning since I
bought
my ST in March. I have no major complaints about the bike but do have a
question.
I currently have 1600 miles on it and it's had it's first service at ~1000
miles.
I've noticed a problem since around 600 miles that hasn't changed. When I
ride the
bike for 15 minutes or more then go to park the bike is very fussy about
finding
neutral. I shift it up into second and back down, the light comes on
although it
flickers a bit. When I put the side stand down the bike cuts out leading me
to believe
the bike was in neutral enough to not go anywhere when I let the clutch out
but not
enough for the side stand circuit. Add to this that I also noticed
yesterday that when
it's on the center stand and I start it the rear wheel turns slowly. I told
the
dealership about the problem when I had it in for service and they did
adjust the
clutch because at that point I could not even shift into second once it
heated up
but that may have been cured from changing the oil. Overall I love the bike
but
this one minor thing concerns me. The dealership chalks it up to Triumph
transmissions
just being this way. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

Rich Lane
