Kathy,

Hope I didn't offend with my igorance of your
situation.  I must say that If the ST were any more 
of a stretch for me I would be in the same boat.  I
was extremely lucky going into it blind and diciding 
(no test ride)  from the specs alone. I believed this
to be the perfect fit (I only ever owned older
Japanese "standards") and have not been dissapointed.

I hope you get this resolved. It would be really sad
if you couldn't enjoy this motorcycle as much as you
should.
