I'm a former K-100RS BMW rider. I love all bikes, and am not one to
support one bike manufacturer, but I've been to a few BMW events, and
one can get caught up in the image. Don't get me wrong the BMW bikes are
still on the top shelf as far as I'm considered, but when it comes to
sport-touring, you really can't compete with the Sprint ST. I just got
mine the other day so I'm still in the break in period, but I took the
bike through Ortega Hwy (74) right outside of San Diego, and it handled
like a dream. I've been on the R1100S, the Duc. 900SS, and the VFR, and
the Sprint ST just rocks. I want to ride with and get to know other
Sprint ST riders who can educate me about my bike. This is my first NEW
(right out of the box) bike, so I need to learn a lot. All of my others
have been used, so I knew plenty about the bike before I owned it.
