Front Guard extension

Has anyone fitted the factory front guard extension ?

I purchased one yesterday. It has no instructions at all, just 4 PLASTIC
pop rivets & no marks etc on the guard extension to suggest where the holes
should go.

I'll probably just drill 4 holes through the guard & the extension, evenly
spaced around the edge of the front guard & try to use a normal rivet gun
on the plastic rivets.

Has anyone else fitted one ? Did it come with any instructions ? Is there
anything I need to look out for, or any tips ?
