Jacket Armour

Does anyone out there own a Shoei Invitation Sympatex Jacket?

Have you been brave enough to remove the shoulder and arm armour pads?

I just did it to get the jacket in the washing machine and am now worried
about getting it back in the correct position during refit.

Anyone who has done this will know what I mean, to others it may seem easy.
It ain't!!

Any clues gratefully received!!!
