Thank you to the many who replied on this topic. Your comments are
appreciated.

I fitted the Triumph rear hugger on the weekend. I found it impossible to
fit following the instructions. Had problems trying to get the rear of the
chain guard under the rear brake line. By simply removing the rear caliper
it is easy to slide the hugger over the rear tyre into position. You just
need to refit the rear caliper before fastening the hugger as there is no
room to fit the caliper between the chain guard & rear wheel (of course I
found out the hard way - d'oh).

Triumph could probably sell the hugger at about half the price if it didnt
come with the whole chain guard. The 2 are just about identical. I would
rather buy the hugger only & just have to drill a couple of holes to rivet
it to the existing chain guard.

Had the bike put on the dyno this morning for a baseline run. Then went
home & fitted the factory alloy race can (less than 5 minutes work). The
bike is now at the dealer having the new tuneup downloaded to suit. While
on the dyno the air/fuel ratio was checked & was very lean at full throttle
with the factory muffler & tuneup.

Cheers,

Darren.
