Re: Introduction and questions

I now ride an RS rather than the ST, but I ran a VFR750 up until 3 years
ago.

The biggest diff is the engine. I thought the VFR was torquey, but I can now
see that it wasn't. In fact the old carburetted model had quite a hole
around 5000 rpm. The RS and ST couldn't be more different, with no hole and
in fact peak torque at 5-6000 - which in the real world makes it MUCH nicer
to drive. No need to dance on the shift, with enough real pull for top gear
overtaking or tackling steep hills from as low as 3000. Yum. The RS also has
better brakes and lights. But you need the ST if you want VFR comfort
levels.
