Re: New Orleans info

Hi Hound Dawg ... I used to live in Baton Rouge, about 60mi from the big
NO...the French 1/4 has quite a few high end hotels who'll let ya park
yerself... I especially enjoyed the Westin Hotel on Canal street ... Hilton
is right next door (we stayed there right before we moved to Germany)
...it's right near the French 1/4 and right next to the riverwalk...keep in
mind, you get what you pay for and if you go budget, you might be in
Metairie... this is not like being downtown and I've had TWO motorcycle
stolen and never received in La. Good food is everywhere in NO, try French
Market rest on Royal or Decatur st is great (Best Bloody Marys in town)
Commander's Palace is something to write home about ... you can hang w/the
tourists at Pat O'Brien's ... w/all this alcohol, you really want to be
downtown so you can walk...drinking and riding is not recommended ... the
police are quite the Bubbas ...they really like if you let them know that
all you need to join is an application ... Let me know if plan on going
through MD on the way down ... if want to cut through, I could show you
around Annapolis--marc

Any ST riders near Annapolis?
