Re: fail to start



My ST would not start the first time after a 3000 mile trip.  Tried all the 
obvious things, then took it to the dealer.  Stumped them for a while they 
said.  Finally found the flapper that the stepper motor operates to be 
missing. Thus to much of an air leak at idle to run.  I do not have a shop 
manual to see if any of this makes since.  Took about a week for the part to 
come in.  Runs fine now.
