Paul, I can't answer a lot of your other questions, but I can tell
you what tank bag I ended up getting.  I just got another of my RKA
bags that have a 3 point connection rather than magnetic.  It's called
the 23 expandable three point.  Website is www.rka-luggage.com.  I've
used RKA stuff for years and it's well built, works well, and Richard
is really helpful if you have a problem (RKA sands for Richard and
Kathy).
