I would double check your Scottoiler splice at the idler valve. It
definitely sounds like a vacuum leak. When I installed my oiler kit, I used
a reasonable bit of RTV (silicone sealer i.e. Loctite brand) to help seal
the "T" fitting to the corrugated vacuum line.
I've been using a Marsee 14 litre Tank bag for a while. The map pocket is
damn near perfect. It hasn't leaked yet. If I could fit my notebook case
into it, I'd leave the hardbags at home!
