FWIW: I had mine replaced due to total inaccuracy about 9 months ago. 
It was from the second batch of revised senders. It will read over 
full like 11/10ths and stay there for about 100 miles or so then 
begin to drop, with the low fuel light coming on at about a gallon 
left.
I don't know if I really want it replaced, it hasn't leaked and works fine...
