What tyres to wear in a flood?

thanks for the Macadam tip.
I've gone for the Pirellis, as these were more readily available at the tyre
specialists. The bike dealer had only Bridgestones!
I was supposed to go in for a fitting today, but there is much local
flooding and it seemed unnecessary to go out in this squally weather till
the floods have subsided and all the tree-trunks have been picked up off the
roads.
Incidentally, the tyre place said that some of the stuff on that list was
totally unavailable, including the Avon Azaros!
