I can't see how that is possible - unless they have changed the sidestand 
(either the configuration or mounting). In the retracted position mine sits 
much farther in than the centerstand (and higher). In order to contact, I 
would have to be leaned over, have the centerstand removed and then have 
the foot peg feelers ground completely off (and depending on the position 
of the swingarm, probably the footpeg would be dragging and at an angle).

Are you sure you are not hitting the centerstand ? I can tell you that if 
you put the rear wheel in the lower height setting, you can drag the 
centerstand with ease and that it certainly hits before the sidestand.
