re: sidestand not quite retracted??

I would have to argue that point because the last time I hit my sidestand
(last friday at the track) it was enough to lift the bike slightly causing
my  rear wheel to slide for a bit right in mid-turn. (--not what you want to
experience at 80 mph)

Blake Sobiloff's picture of his sidestand shows wear that's exactly like
mine.
