for Barry - Gen-Mar

 >>> Do the bars still clear the fairing OK? <<<

Yes, that's why I used the picture with the ignition key in the
steering -locked position. As you can see the only thing that comes
close is the throttle cable housing. If you don't have the heated
grips, you can easily rotate the throttle housing down to a position
below the starter button (a better place for it anyway) which is
where I had mine; that will give you plenty of clearance. When I had
the heated grips installed the throttle housing had to go back up on
top because of the groove in the handlebars to accommodate the
wiring.

 >>> Did you need a longer clutch cable? If so, where did you get it?
<<<

Triumph dealer had it; I think it might be a Trophy cable, not
sure.

 >>> And what's happened to the preload adjusters? Are they under
those caps? <<<

Yes; the caps just snap off.

The grip position now is just right for me but the bar angle is
still not good, angled down too much at the ends. This requires a
wrist angle better suited to the more basic forms of self-abuse (at
least from what I can see with my deteriorated eyesight). May have
to try Heli-bars.

                                         Cheers;
