Chrome type part just after the clutch lever.
Mine rusted here within days of collecting the bike. It's just crap chrome.
I scrub it lightly with steel wool sprayed in wd40 occasionally and it
keeps it looking OK.
Fork clamps show very small areas of starting to rust.
Mine are fine.
Rear wheel nut (chain side) which I've never touched.
Again, I've no corrosion here. Try the steel wool and WD-40
trick to clean it and then just apply oil when you clean the
bike.
Brake banjo's (think this is the correct word).
I thought these were stainless?
It all sounds very much like salt corrosion to me. You may simply have
to clean and chamois it after every ride and apply a light coating of
oil to the bare metal surfaces regularly.
Salted roads are a PITA!!!!!
Howlin'
