I just wanted to speak up for a friend of mine who makes and sells a
handlebar harness to tie down bikes. It is a very good system. You will find
it in a lot of catalogs. They are just called "Bar Harness". I see them in
"Competition Accessories", #8204, page 61. They slip over the handlebar
grips and as you pull on the ends, the socks pull towards the center of the
bars. The best system on the market. $23.99 US
