Erik, I think I get your point. However, there is no harm in looking for a
replacement product that can do the same job as good or better and possibly
at a better price. After reading several postings regarding changing the oil
at shorter intervals than the factory recommends, I thought I might start to
change my oil twice as often or more than I currently change it now. With
that in mind, I thought I might check into other options for the oil filter.
Previously I have found after market oil filters for my cars to be a better
quality than the car's OEM filter and costs less.
