I'll let the RS riders talk to you about the long distance, but my bet
is they'll tell you you'll be fine for a 300 mile day. Some have
modified their RSs with ST bars or the genmar risers if they've found
the bars to be a bit too low. That's something you'll have to figure
out for yourself. For instance, both my husband and I are fine with the
ST bars, stock (I'm 5'8" & he's 6'2"), but others have added the risers.
Since the bikes are so similar, we are all on one list ;-)! BTW, we're
looking at seeing more RSs at the TSRA rallyes this year . . . .
