Re: [ST] Exercise & Long Trips

Robert, the best exercise is to ride every chance you get.
I recently completed a SS 1000, and two important tips I have are: try to
ride in vacant areas of land such as Nevada, where you can ride at 85 to 90
mph without a lot of traffic congestion, and stop for at least two one hour
rests where you can get off the bike and lay down. Bring extra clothing for
unexpected cold, water to drink. I am sure you can think of the many more
needs that apply to typical long distance ride much less than the SS 1000.
