Actually Erik, they saved you money. They would have just passed the
additional cost of the better forks on to the consumer. I know, if you end
up installing the after market mods to the forks, you probably have spent
more, but I haven't and most likely most of the ST owners haven't spent the
additional dollars for the mods.
