Re: [ST] suspension general, comment



I would have VERY GLADLY paid the extra money for the better forks. 
In fact take a look at the MSRP of a ST and a Daytona.. what's the 
difference $300.00 .. I've spent more than that trying to get the 
forks dialed in. And for the person that said to improve ones skills 
I agree 100%.. But for me, my ST as delivered was not fun when pushed 
hard in the twisties..it would stand up when hitting bumps or 
braking, the chassis would jump around when hitting square edge bumps 
etc.. I guess I was spoiled by various BMW's with Telever front 
suspensions and Ohlins shocks :-) IMO how fast a person can ride is 
directly proportionate to the confidence one has in their bike. A 
suspension that is dialed in makes all the difference.. just ask 
anyone who races.. And to quote Paul Theade of Racetech
  "The best (suspension) you have ridden, is the best you know"
