Same happens with my Scottoiler - if the drip rate is set too high, or if it
was set on a cold day and the weather is hotter, the Scottoiler tends to put
too much oil on the chain and the excess oil is flung off and drips from the
front sprocket cover, just in front of the side stand. Just reduce the oil
drip rate and the problem goes away.

My Scottoiler also leaks slightly at the seal around the black adjuster on
the oil container. I have the smaller Scottoiler, not the touring kit that
mounts behind the number plate, and mine is mounted on the right hand side
of the rear sub-frame, under the seat. The oil container is not far off
horizontal, so if it's really full, the oil tends to leak out, trickle down
the frame and drip onto the ground on the right hand side of the bike. It's
easy to spot where the oil is coming from though - the Scottoiler oil is
pinkish and clean.

Yes, OK, Scottoilers are made in the UK - but they are *designed* to leak
oil! ;-)
