I don't know about a nervous front end.  I did have my forks Race Teched
though wich was a major improvement.  I'm writing to comment on the tires.
The Bridgeaxe Battlestones or (BT 57's) that come as OEM equiment on the
Sprint are really lousy road tires in my opinion.  They take far too long to
heat up and don't provide any real solid feel until they are plenty hot.  If
you don't live in Texas or other high temperature state you would never get
them hot enough to feel right.

For what it's worth its Dunlop's for me.
