[ST] Brainerd, 12000 mile service and now gas leak

I have just returned from Brainerd. The races were quite awesome, but
to be frank the spectator arrangements leave a lot to be desired. i
must be spoiled by Laguna SEca. One of the biggest things they need to
change is the grandstand area. it would be nice to see the rest of the
course on a big screen rather then the 1.5 seconds down the straight
away. i saw lots of triumphs from all over. but i think i got the long
distance award coming from socal.

i did take my 99 sprint st to minneapolis for service, i made it home
and have now found that i have a gas leak. now i have already had the
fuel sender fixed many miles ago. i just don't get it this time. it
doesn't really seem to leak until after i am home and the bike has been
sitting awhile after the ride. i thought it could be the different
altitudes i have traveled, the fact that i used different gas, it did
not leak on the way home after the service, it is just leaking now. so
any ideas?

i also noticed that the paint on the belly pan had peeled off from the
intense heat i traveled through. i brought it to my dealers attention
(motorcycles r us) in saugus and the new belly pan is on the way.

like i asked any ideas on the gas leak?
