I've put the Throttlemeister on all 3 Triumphs that I've owned and can't 
praise them high enough.

One thing you might want to consider is to pack the extra shims on the bike 
somewhere in case you want to tweak it when you're not at home. Once you're 
done tweaking, you should be fine.
