Air Filter Location and Aftermarket Can Tune

Howdy,

I just bought a used 2000 RS.  The guy I bought it from had a K&N air
filter for it which he had not installed yet.  After circling the bike
for about a half hour I give up.  Where is the air filter located.  I
have a suspicion that it is under the tank, but I dont want to start
unbolting things if I dont have to.

The bike also came with a D&D can.  I put it on for a while, but decided
to take it back off until I had time to get the correct tune
downloaded.  Performance with the standard tune was TERRIBLE.  The bike
refused to accelerate and bogged down something awful between 3 and 4
grand.  So my next question is;  what tune should the dealer put into
the bike for this combination.  I know I could just let the dealer have
his way with the bike, but I would feel better with a little bit of
knowledge before I go to talk to him.
