RE: [ST] floppy mirror

I just had my mirror replaced under warranty, the mechanic tried to repair
the mirror by replacing the fittings but it became loose in jus a few miles.
Hope yours is still under warranty.

Subject: [ST] floppy mirror

Recently my left mirror has started to become a little floppy. It is enough
that it can be hard to see out of. It also causes the rubber boot to come
off its base which makes the flopping worse. Has anyone else had this
problem?

I looked and I see the hinge for folding the mirror back doesn't really
have any screws you can tighten. It has a push on fitting of some sort
that seems pretty tight.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Wes
