Hi Charlie!

Too bad you didn't join the list a little earlier so you could have
found out about the TSRA Western Rallye.  We were up at the Pisgah Inn
on the Parkway outside of Asheville riding last Friday and Saturday. 
You could have seen quite a few STs and talked to their owners :-)!  We
all had an absolute blast!  My opinion that North Carolina is just one
big curve was confirmed again this year.

The ST is a great bike to tour on and to have fun with in the twisties. 
You will hear riders talking about suspension mods (RaceTech on the
front end and Ohlins on the rear).  My husband and I personally have
only RacTeched the front on each bike and did so after a year + of
riding them.  We've been from Houston to Park City, Utah, and back,
Arkansas, and the Texas Hill Country numerous times.  We trailered part
of the way to NC this time, only because of the time and heat elements
involved.  We'd rather trailer one day to the good riding area so we can
get in 4 good days of riding and 2 trailering, instead of 4 days of
slabbing it and 2 good days of riding.
